I was born in Istanbul, in 1985.

My passion for cooking started at the age of six, when I started helping my mom for her delicious jam-fillied thumbprint cookies. Then it kept going with an attempt of peeling prawns with my dad after he went to the fish market early in the morning to get some fresh ones.

Presenting and sharing good food have always been my first weapon of choice more than cooking itself.

Last few years of my corparate life in advertising, I developed a habit of travelling a lot. Then all of sudden I realized that everywhere I go my first attraction was wandering around looking for local bazaars and antique shops to get some nice spoons and charming serving plates instead of asking museums or many other places.. Probably that's why I could not stop the urge of mine for starting up a business about it.

When I discovered that a nice presentation of a dish on the table had almost the same emotional impact with the food in the plate, it was all very clear to me. Thus, my adventure of food styling started with the Food Styling Workshop in MSA.

1985, İstanbul doğumluyum.

Mutfakla tanışmam, altı yaşındayken annemin pişireceği kurabiyelerin ortasına marmelat dökmek için parmaklarımı basmamla başladı; sabah erkenden balık haline gidip gelmiş babamla karides ayıklayarak devam etti.

Yemek pişirmekten çok, sunmak ve paylaşmak benim için hep daha önemli bir yere sahip oldu.

Gittiğim her yerde müzelerden önce yerel pazar ve marketleri gezdiğim, eskicilerden gümüş kaşıklar ve eski tabaklar topladığım birkaç sene boyunca reklam ajanslarında çalıştım ama içimdeki yemekle ilgili bir iş yapma isteği gittikçe arttı.

Güzel kokular ve güzel tatlar kadar güzel bir sofranın da ne kadar iştah açıcı olabileceğini farkettikten sonra, yapmak istediğim iş de şekillendi. Böylece MSA'da katıldığım Food Styling Workshop'uyla stilistlik maceram başladı.
